Can I also talk about how great Todd is? When we first rolled out Bubble at the U, it was rocky and we were doing a lot of things wrong based on information previously given to us. When I reached out to Todd, he was right on it and come out to do some education with our staff. We found out so many things we needed to do different and things we needed to change. He is so engaged with staff that it makes the staff engage back, and feel good about asking questions. This was really evident with the roll out at St. John’s NICU. There was a mix of staff in the education, nursing and RT with some providers mixed in. He made sure to talk to all areas on what needs to be done with set up and on going management.

I wanted to reach out to you both and share that we had an exceptional experience working with Todd on the roll out of Bubble CPAP at one of the NICUs in our M Health Fairview System. The St. John’s NICU in Maplewood, MN, cares for infants >28 weeks gestation and has a capacity of approximately 20 beds, and Todd jumped at the opportunity to help us expand Bubble CPAP to this site. We currently use BCPAP at two of our other hospitals, one community NICU and also our large University hospital, and have found great success partnering with Todd. Todd spent three days with our team last week providing approximately 1-hour in-services over 6 separate sessions in hopes of reaching the majority of our teams. Even before we met Todd in person, he was active and available during our planning stages as well and was very easy to work with from an accommodation standpoint. During our in-person sessions, he was positive, entertaining, and clinically very knowledgeable, and our staff have been singing his praises since attending their sessions. Todd was able to provide focused education based on the demographics of the groups (RNs, RTs & NNPs), was willing to provide additional sessions for our RT team who were understaffed and not available during our scheduled times, and through everything, he was very positive, engaging, and enthusiastic. We are so lucky to be able to partner with Todd and your team, and we wanted to be sure to share our absolutely fantastic experience with you both as well.
